The Little Rock Black Police Association will award a $ 1000.00 scholarship to deserving high school seniors who will be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year accredited college or university. The scholarship recipient will be awarded May 15, 2008. The criteria for eligibility is as follows:
1. Must live in the state of Arkansas.
2. Must have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 or better on a 4.0 grading scale.
3. Must be a graduating high school senior and enrolled in a 2 or 4 year accredited college or university.
4. Must have proof of acceptance and enrollment into a 2 or 4 year accredited college or university, which should be submitted with the application or within thirty (30) days of May 1, 2007. Must have two (2) letters of recommendation from principle, teacher, school resoursce officer or counselors with application.

The application must be postmarked no later than May 1, 2008 in order to be considered.
